By telephone: you can reserve your accommodation by calling our advisers on +33 (0)253 817 000 (cost of a local call) to lock in the rate and availability for the period of time stated in your reservation contract.

 

Your reservation becomes a confirmed booking once the required amounts are paid within the stated timeframes.

 

If payment is not made within the timeframes stated in the reservation contract, your reservation will be cancelled by the Booking Service.

 

Online: you can make a reservation 24/7 on www.ms-vacances.com. Your booking will be confirmed once it has been manually verified by a member of our Booking Service (within 24 hours on business days).

Camping pitches

 

– For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total cost (excluding the booking fee and cancellation insurance which are payable at the time of booking) must be paid within 7 days in order to confirm the booking. The following payment methods may be used: credit/debit card or bank transfer.

 

– For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total cost (excluding the booking fee and cancellation insurance which are payable at the time of booking) must be paid at the time of Booking in order to confirm the booking. The following payment methods may be used: credit/debit card or bank transfer.

 

– For bookings made less than 7 days before the check-in date, payments will only be accepted by credit/debit card.

 

– The remaining balance on your booking must be paid when you check in, before you will have access to your camping pitch. The following payment methods may be used: credit/debit card or cash.

 

 

Holiday rentals

– Your remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your stay, without MS Vacances having to remind you to do so.

 

– On site (at reception, during check-in, etc.), only the following payment methods are accepted: credit/debit card or cash.

 

 

In the event of non-payment by a due date

 

MS Vacances reserves the right to employ the means of its choice to collect the amounts outstanding. Further, if payment of the remaining balance is not received by its due date, the Customer will be informed that their booking has been cancelled. In that case, the Peace of Mind Guarantee will apply, as per Article 1.3.9 of the MS Vacances General Terms of Sale.

Holiday rentals

You must pay the deposit in full when making your reservation in order to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your scheduled arrival date. You can make multiple payments to cover it, so long as it is paid in full by that due date.

 

Camping pitches

The remaining balance is due by your scheduled arrival date and must be paid before you will have access to your pitch. You can make any number of payments towards that balance in advance, at no extra cost to you.

During your stay at one of our establishments, only the following payment methods will be accepted: credit/debit card or cash.

The Peace of Mind Guarantee, which is free and automatically included with all bookings made via www.ms-vacances.com or by telephone with one of our advisers on +33 (0)2 53 81 70 00, provides for more flexible terms and conditions for cancelling or changing a booking.

For an even greater level of protection, MS Vacances offers cancellation insurance in addition to the Peace of Mind Guarantee.

 

Cancellation insurance covers 95% of personal incidents, so long as it was random, outside the affected person’s control and not initiated by them.

 

This insurance includes enhanced cover for Covid-19, providing for reimbursement of all or part of the holiday, under certain conditions. In addition to the traditional guarantees, the enhanced cover for Covid-19 offers protection relating to individual consequences of the pandemic.

 

Cancellation insurance must be selected and paid for at the time of booking. This insurance is calculated as 3.7% of the total price of your stay.

Campez-Couvert cancellation insurance is designed to provide guarantees for damages suffered BEFORE and DURING your trip. Because unforeseen events can happen to anyone (death, illness, hospitalization, loss of employment, etc.), we strongly encourage you to take out cancellation insurance.

 

Despite the flexibility of our Peace of Mind Guarantee, in some cases (depending on the date the damage is suffered) it will be more advantageous for you to make a claim under the Campez-Couvert insurance so you can hold onto your holiday budget.

 

For example : if you book a cottage and need to cancel within 30 days of your arrival, under the Peace of Mind Guarantee you would be invoiced for between 50% and 100% of the full amount paid. Cancellation insurance however offers cover for a wide range of damages up until your departure from the establishment.

For a reservation made by phone, the fee is €15 for stays of 1 to 5 nights and €30 for 6 nights or more.

For a reservation made on our website, the fee is €12.

The booking fee is payable at the time of reservation.

That being said, you can make a request regarding your preferences (sunny location, peaceful, etc.) at the time of booking. All such pitch requests must be transmitted at least 7 days before your arrival.

 

Our teams will do everything they can to fulfil your request, but we cannot guarantee that will be possible and cannot be held responsible if not.

 

Your pitch number will be given to you when you check in, on the day of your arrival.

We offer several types of holiday rentals.

 

For accommodation indicating two numbers (4-6 and 5-7 people), the first digit gives the number of guests recommended by MS Vacances and the second digit states the maximum capacity allowed (using the sofa bed in the living room).

 

MS Vacances will be compelled to deny access to the establishment to holidaymakers arriving in groups larger than the listed maximum capacity, with the understanding that each child counts as a person. 

Yes, all our 4-star Campéole Campsites and 5-star MS Clubs are accessible.

 

In addition, our Access’ Cottages have accessibility fixtures (low countertops, walk-in showers with seats, entrance ramps, etc.) to ensure you have a pleasant stay.

 

All our establishments hold Ad’AP (schedule of accessibility works) permits.

When booking, ensure you register every person regardless of age (remember that a baby also counts as a person).

Pets are allowed at all our 4-star Campéole Campsites and 5-star MS Clubs, limited to one pet per pitch.

 

Stays can only be booked with a pet for certain categories of accommodation. 

 

Their vaccination records must be up to date as at check-in.

 

There is a €6 surcharge per night for a pet, or €42 per week.

 

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Category 1 ‘attack’ dogs (like pit bulls) and Category 2 ‘guard and defence’ dogs (like rottweilers) are prohibited (in accordance with Article 211-12 of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code, and enforcing ministerial decrees and orders).

 

Dogs and other pets may not be left to run free, or be locked inside, in the absence of their masters, who shall be civilly liable for them.

Anyone aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by their legal guardian who is responsible for them for the full duration of their stay.

 

 Thus, unaccompanied minors are not allowed. 

When booking a pitch, you must provide full details of all your equipment (tent, caravan, awning, trailer, etc.) and the ground area (length x width) occupied by that equipment during your stay.

 

This helps us allocate you a suitable pitch to fit all your equipment.

 

Before confirming your booking, our advisers manually check that a suitable pitch is available for the equipment listed in your booking request.

 

You must contact the Bookings Service to register any changes to the equipment listed on your booking contract, subject to availability and acceptance by MS Vacances Group.

The applicable tourist tax for your MS destination must be paid for each booking.

 

You will be billed for a waste disposal fee at the rate of €1.02/night or €7.14/week to cover the cost of your waste removal during your stay.

Your stay at a 5-star MS Club or a 4-star Campéole Campsite includes activities and entertainment all season long, Sunday afternoon to Friday night, 10 am to midnight (11 pm in low season)

 

Off-site excursions organised with our partners and some entertainment and activities incur an extra charge (details at reception only).

Access to the Children’s Clubs (4 to 13 years) is included in the Formula by MS.

 

For MS 5* Clubs, the Children’s Clubs are open all season long:

  • From 08/04 to 03/05 and from 08/07 to 30/08: Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon)
  • Outside school holidays: 5 half-days per week

 

For Campéole 4* campsites (excluding Pontaillac Plage 4*), the Children’s Clubs are open:

  • From 24/06* to 30/08: Monday to Friday (mornings and afternoons)
    *From 24/06 to 05/07, half-day service only.

 

For Campéole Pontaillac Plage 4*, the Children’s Clubs are open :

MS Vacances organizes activities and entertainment from Sunday afternoon to Friday night, 10 am to midnight*, all season long ! (*10 am to 11 pm in low season).

If you are staying in a holiday rental, you can pick up the keys from 3 pm onwards.

 

If you are staying on a camping pitch, you may occupy it from 2 pm (3 pm in low season), after paying the outstanding balance of your booking.

 

Reception opening hours can be found :

Please note that administrative formalities can be completed at reception as early as 11:30 am. In the meanwhile, you can take advantage of all the Club’s amenities.

If you arrive after reception closes, we can offer you a late check-in.

We take care of everything! When you arrive, head to the reception doors where you will find the documents you need to access your holiday rental or camping pitch. Return to reception the next day to check in.

Important! If you arrive after midnight, you will need to park your vehicle outside the campsite.

If you are staying in a rental, you will need to vacate it by 10 am.

You will be informed of the departure process when you arrive.

 

If you are staying on a pitch, you will need to vacate it by noon.

The day before you leave, stop by reception to complete the departure process. We will also tell you where to leave the keys (for holiday rentals).

The automatic gates are closed between midnight and 7 am. Remember to park your vehicle outside the campsite the night before you leave.

Only one vehicle per pitch/rental is permitted to enter the campsite.

For 4-bedroom holiday rentals only, 2 vehicles may park near the rental.

 

Your vehicle may park on your camping pitch/holiday rental or, in some cases, in a nearby parking space.

 

You may use the car park at the campsite’s entrance. It is free to use and reserved for our campers.

 

Your vehicle’s number plate will be requested when you make your booking.

Charging stations for electric vehicles are provided at all our Campsites and Clubs (for a fee [&] except at Campéole Pontaillac Plage (ex Clairefontaine) 4*).

 

As a reminder, plugging an electric vehicle into a socket other than the ones on the EV charging stations is strictly prohibited.

 

If you want to hire additional equipment*, we offer a range of options: bed linen, bath towels, baby equipment, gas grill, etc.

 

You can add additional equipment to your booking up to 48 hours before arrival.

On the day of your departure, we ask that you take all your personal belongings with you and leave the pitch or rental empty. You will be informed of the departure process when you arrive.

Visitors must register at reception.

When visitors are authorised to enter, they are given a bracelet that enables them to move around within the establishment.
